Greetings to all our dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ!

Things continue to move forward with the women’s ministry, even though we had a setback! The property which we were ready to move into was canceled for unknown reasons! They just changed their minds about renting to us!

I continued to push the issue but they just told me if I didn’t like it: “find another agency!”

To be honest, I had to use all the self-control God had given me! I kept quiet, not saying anything to dishonor our Lord Jesus!

The scriptures remind us that, in Christ, all things work together for the good! So, Rossy and I embrace this truth trusting God to provide according to His provisions, perhaps to have something better!

Well, a month later, a property with a house on it, six blocks away from the church became available for purchase! We, of course, were looking to rent, but when they called my wife and dropped the price from $140,000 to $110,000, with $50,000 dollars down and 2 years of payments at $2,500 per mo. at zero interest! Well, all we can say is this offer got our interests! Thank you Lord!

So, to make a long story short, we made a $15,000 deposit. We will be cleaning the house and the back yard getting it ready for ministry as soon as possible! It’s going to be a couple of months to get all the paperwork processed, but they are allowing us to start our cleaning ASAP taking advantage of the time! Once all the paperwork is done, we will start with the payments! Again, God is good; He is faithful, can I get a big Amen!

I would like to thank each one of you for keeping us in your prayers! The enemy wants to paralyze us with fear and uncertainties, but we understand our calling and know the One who called us into the world to be light and salt.

Our duty does not stop because of tribulations or epidemics! We are called to overcome all forms of evil and above all, preach the Gospel in and out of season! We are ready to preach, proclaim and teach the Gospel to all those who will hear!

We received three new youth at our Orphanage. Two of then are siblings, but all three have come with a horrific history at such a young age!

One brother saw his mother burn cigarettes on his younger brother’s stomach; another saw his grandmother kill his sister! Talking about evil in this world, it is happening all around us every single day!

We overcome evil with the Love of Christ in us; it is through Him we are able to do the many good works that we do, for His Glory!

Talking about the youth, we now have 11 out of 14 youth in high school! What a praise report! But things continue to get more expensive, especially for our highschoolers! Many of these are going to be able to attend college or some tech school in the near future. The increasing costs just make us wonder how we are going to keep up! But then God reminds us that He is in control, Amen! Please pray with us as we continue to trust as our responsibilities continue to grow with us!

Also pray for one of our newest servants at the shelter! His name is Gustavo, and he is only 22 years old. He finished his program at La Roca ranch and like most He has not seen his family for years, but he now wants to serve out of gratitude for all he has received from His Savior Jesus Christ!

So, we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Thanks for your prayers and faithful support! Thanks for being part of La Roca family!

In His Love and Truth, Carlos and Rossy and the rest of the team!
