September 2016 Newsletter

We want to thank you all for your faithfulness and for your generous and continued support. For we know we could not do it without friends like you, who respond to God’s direction so faithfully! This summer we have been very busy keeping our children from the Orphanage and the Dump occupied! Now that summer is over, we find ourselves busy getting all the children ready for school; with the purchases of new uniforms, school supplies and of course, the registration of all the children.

July 2016 Newsletter

We want to thank God for all the mission-minded churches that come alongside our ministry and ministries like ours all around the world that are supported by the Body of Christ. Please pray that more get involved in these last days, so we can reach more unsaved people by the Grace and Mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May 2016 Newsletter

Time is going by so fast with so much to do! Please continue to pray for us, for wisdom, discernment, and that we would continue to be good stewards of all God’s blessings!

Both our men and women’s shelter, are filling up within two hours of opening the doors! It feels terrible when we have to say, “Sorry, no more room”, as we are trying to help as many people as we can.

February 2016 Newsletter

It is to no surprise that the violence around the dump continues. Moises, who is 31 years old, was shot. The bullet entering his abdomen caused complications with his stomach, causing him to go into surgery. They ended up cutting out part of his large intestine. He needs bags to place around the opening to allow his stool to drain.

December 2015 Newsletter

Since the Thanksgiving celebration, where we had around 250 people for dinner, things have not slowed down!

We of course did not do this by ourselves, our dear brothers from Sacramento have been faithfully helping us out during Thanksgiving week for 10 years now! Thanks to all for being faithful, we could not have done it without them!

November 2015 Newsletter

How time flies by; I really can’t believe that Christmas and Thanksgiving are both just around the corner again! However, we should be excited, considering that we will be celebrating and giving thanks for the birth of our savior and redeemer! It’s unfortunate that we get so wrapped up with all the dinners, gifts and events that we lose sight of the most important event of this season! So I want to tell you all to stop and take a breath and give thanks, and then have a wonderful Christmas celebration, Amen!

September 2015 Newsletter

Well summer is over! With Halloween and Christmas supplies and decorations all around us, it’s hard not to over look that summer is over!

Our kids are back in school with all new uniforms and school supplies, and a list a mile long. It’s nothing but a miracle that all the needs are met though the body of Christ. I can’t imagine doing all this without all those who faithfully support us in prayer and financially.

June 2015 Newsletter

We want to  say a big thank you for supporting La Roca with your prayers and donations. The ministry continues to serve the people of Tijuana and share God's love with them through the shelter (which houses up to 200 men and women daily), House of Grace Children's Home, the Ranch (a rehabilitation and discipleship center) and church services. We have recently started congregating in two new neighborhoods; Valle de Las Palmas and the City Dump.

April 2015 Newsletter

La Roca Ministries isn’t just a church building where ministry occurs, it’s a church body that extends past the walls and goes out into our community. We are the hands and feet of Christ and His love truly knows no bounds. Nothing can stop the love of our God and so nothing shall stop us either.

March 2015 Newsletter

First off, I would like to say, thank you all for your prayers and support. Like always, there is so much to write about what is taking place in our ministry. From bringing the shelter to having over 200 people per night, to taking care of little children who have no stable home to live at, because of addictions and prostitution.

February 2015 Newsletter

The first thing I want to do is thank you for all your prayers; for believing in us and not giving up on us!   Well, we have big news. An unknown person has provided the rest of the funds for the purchase of the church and shelter property! What a Praise report! God is good, Amen!  Let us all shout with joy and proclaim God’s goodness, for He is good all the time!
