Greetings to all our dear brothers and sisters in the Lord,

It’s amazing how fast time has gone by, and now Christmas is just around the corner!  If you have been following us through facebook, Carlos Rossy Montoya, you have seen how busy we have been with all the activities, and the many children we have been able to bless!

A few of our recent outreaches are: celebrating Jesus on the 31st of October, with over 300
people, then celebrating Thanksgiving with another 300 or more, thanks to our brothers from Sacramento, and also to our first Christmas outreach December third , with hundreds of Children getting blessed, thanks to Christian Assembly.

In regards to the new building at the House of Grace, we’ve been keeping up with the new regulations with the boys dorm and with the Orphanage itself. We had a major set back with our 3 staircases not passing; so we need to redo them. We also had to place new facial boards on most of the house and plaster three walls that are made of wood, and damaged by termites. It’s also time to renew permits and go through inspections; like the fire department and so on, also making sure we get all the little things done from last year.

In the midst of it all, it’s been such a blessing, seeing many receive the Lord and the many smiles of the children getting their Christmas gifts. Of course we are just being faithful sowing the seed of the Gospel!

I would like to share a short testimony of Reynel, who lived in the water canal for 6 months, and was reached in our Tuesday’s outreach. He then came to the shelter months later, which few do, but then he took it a step further by going to the ranch, after struggling to get his act together on his own;

He stayed at the ranch until his name was called to serve one year later and he was more than ready. Reynel has grown to maturity faster than most, and is serving at the dump two days per week, 3 days at our store and 1 day filling in at the shelter. He is committed to the Lord and does not complain. He is happy and content serving the Lord ,and it’s easy to see his love for the Savior! Please keep him in your prayers as He lives for Christ and takes back the ground lost to our enemy of our souls!

Also I have to share this great story of Rafael and Edith who just got married on the December second!  It was so special in so many ways. First of course, we celebrated with Rafael and Edith’s wedding. God blessed both of them in ways they were not expecting! Then, Rafael’s mother, whom he hadn’t heard from in 23 years, was finally back in the picture. With healing and forgiveness taking place, it was a time of joy and celebration one on top of another.

Next, after all these years, Edith’s brother, whom she never had the chance to meet, found her on facebook, days before the wedding!  He and his wife flew from Mexico city, they are both teachers. Her brother had the privilege of giving her away! Wow, talk about blessings, and all at one time. God is good all the time!

Enjoy all the pictures and thank you for your faithfulness, which allow us to continue to obey what God has called us to do! Thank you for your obedience as we together work in advancing God’s Kingdom, till He comes for us!

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

From all of us here at La Roca, your missionaries Carlos and Rossy Montoya
